Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Act 2 – Path To Old Lumiere Walkthrough

After you finish exploring Monoco's Station, you can choose to follow the main storyline directly (by going to the west exit and taking the Old Lumiere Portal) or take some time to explore these areas for collectibles and optional content. Monocco Station has three exits - south (where you came from), east, and west. This guide will walk you through the east and west exits, helping you find all the hidden treasures and enemies before continuing to Old Lumiere.

East Exit

After exiting from the east portal, walk down the main path until you notice Grandis on the right side. Interact with him and he'll ask you "Are you in search of your former home, Old Lumiere?" You'll get two options - yes and no. If you choose no, he'll give you a Colour of Lumina.

After crossing the Grandis, you'll find a panel on the right side. Interact with it to create a shortcut to the south of Monocco's Station. Return to the main path, and in the center, you'll notice black rocks and trees covered in snow. Here you can find some crates containing a Colour of Lumina.

Take the left path from here and after walking a few steps, you'll encounter a group of enemies. Defeating them will reward you with Pictos - Energising Pain, Weapon - Ramasson, and Weapon - Glaceso.

After this battle, take the left path again and keep moving along until you come across a portal. Turn right from the portal, and on the right side, you'll find Pictos - Fueling Break. Keep following this path, and you'll come across another portal called Frozen Hearts. (Note: If you had taken the right path after defeating the enemies, you would have reached this portal first and walked left from the Frozen Hearts portal to get to the other portal.)

That covers everything you'll find in the east area. Now head back to Monocco's Station and take the west path.

West Exit

Once you're in the west exit area, head down the slope until you notice a group of enemies standing close to melting huge golden swords. Defeating them will reward you with Weapon - Chation and Pictos - Longer Shell.

After engaging these enemies, go back a bit and you'll see a small path on the left just before them. Follow this path to find a small camp containing a Colour of Lumina. After collecting this, look to the left and you'll notice a broken building. Follow this path until you notice a beach in the distance.

Reach this beach and move south to find a portal that leads to Gestral Beach. Swim to the other side of the shore to find a panel. Activating it will create a shortcut bridge back to the area south of Monocco's Station.

Explore this area to find enemies including Stalact, Ceramic Chevalière, and Bruler. Defeating them will reward you with Weapon - Brulerum, Weapon - Stalum, and a Resplendent Chroma Catalyst. Right behind these enemies is a small camp where you can get Pictos - Charging Tint.

Keep following this path and you'll find a Gestral Merchant named Blakora. He sells Verso Haircut - Bun and Lune Haircut - Ponytail.

Head back to the shore you came from. On the left side, you'll notice a path between two broken buildings. Take this path and after moving a few steps, you'll find a Gestral Merchant named Carnovi who sells Sciel Outfit - Skirt.

Continue following the path, and on the right side, you'll find Journal - Expedition 47 in a camp. At the extreme end of the path, you'll encounter a Bourgeon. Defeat it to get Pictos - Burning Death, Bourgeon Skin, and Polished Chroma Catalyst. After that, collect Pictos - Breaking Burn from the small camp in this area.

Return to the main path from where you took the left between the broken buildings. This time walk straight and after a while, on the left side you'll notice a group of enemies including Portier, Hexga, and Ceramic Chevalière. Defeat them to get Pictos - Confident and the Colour of Lumina close to them.

After getting these items, keep moving north, and you'll soon come across the Esoteric Ruins portal. Continue following the main path here, and you'll find a Colour of Lumina in a small camp. After grabbing this, head up the slope to find the portal to Old Lumière.

The Camp

After exploring both exit areas and collecting all available items, return to camp. Once you've completed all interactions with different characters to increase your relationships, you can choose the "Go to sleep" option to continue the main storyline and reach Old Lumiere.
