After defeating the first Axon, Visages, you'll experience a cutscene where Sciel saves the other party members, and after that, the Mask Keeper's body vanishes. The cutscene ends with your team returning to camp, and this allows you to upgrade your characters and prepare for your next major challenge - the second Axon, Sirene. This guide will walk you through everything you need to do at camp and how to reach Sirene to progress the story.
Back at Camp
The cutscenes you experience after returning to camp will depend on whether you have already defeated an Axon or not. In our walkthrough, we've already defeated Visages and are now heading to face Sirene as our second Axon.
When you arrive at camp, you'll be greeted with another cutscene in which the Curator asks Maelle to give him the thing. (Note: If you had defeated Sirene first and this was your second Axon, in this cutscene, Maelle would receive a new weapon from the Curator called "Barrier Breaker" instead.)
After this cutscene ends, you can do a lot of activities in the camp before progressing through the main story:
- Take this time to increase your relationship levels. You can interact individually with all the characters, and continuing these conversations will raise your relationship levels with them (after choosing 'yes' when the game asks if you want to spend time with them). Here’s everything you might receive for raising your relationship levels:
- Gradient Attack: Doom (Sciel -Relationship Level 4)
- Gradient Attack: Phoenix Flame (Maelle - Relationship Level 4)
- Monoco Haircut - Viking and Verso Haircut - Samurai (Monoco - Relationship Level 3)



- This is also the perfect time to strengthen your team before facing Sirene. Visit the Expedition Flag to upgrade your attributes. Then speak with the Curator to upgrade your Weapons.
- Selecting the "Check up on others" option. After selecting this option, you will have a cutscene of Verso playing piano, and when the cutscene finishes, you will get a Record - Lettre a Maelle.
- Lastly, don't forget to select the "Write in the journal of Gustave's apprentices" option. (A short cutscene of Maelle writing Gustave's journal)
After completing all these activities, select the "Go to sleep" option to continue your journey toward defeating the second Axon, Sirene.


How to Get to Sirene
After choosing the "Go to sleep" option, you'll return to the main world map. Getting to Sirene is straightforward, especially since you've already completed the Visages (Axon) section.
Simply head east from your current position until you reach a portal located in a desert-like area. The portal should be clearly visible. Interact with it to enter Sirene's domain.
Once inside, walk forward along the main path. You'll soon trigger a cutscene that briefly introduces Sirene and reveals her ability to manipulate people's minds. After the cutscene ends, you'll continue on your journey to defeat the second Axon, Sirene.



Note: There aren't really any collectibles (except relationship rewards) during this section between defeating the Mask Keeper and reaching Sirene's area. This part of the game mainly focuses on the character interactions.
